Steve Timm and Bob Cupp have been working together for over 15 years. Bob Cupp was the senior designer for Jack Nicklaus for 14 years before starting Cupp Design in 1986. Bob has designed over 100 golf courses around the world so far in his career. Steve hired Bob to design Los Angeles International Golf club (LAI) with Tom Kite in 1988. After 6 years of unsuccessful permitting efforts on LAI, Steve left the development business and joined Bob’s Design Company. The golf course below represents Steve’s best example of his collaborative design strengths with Bob. Starting in 2010 Steve and Bob are entering the China market  starting with two 36 hole projects in Kunming, China and an 18 hole project on Hainan Island, China
